What are the types of industrial piping?

There are very different types of industrial piping. Depending on the industry and the specific requirements of the industry, they may look slightly different and may be made of different materials. What’s more, industrial piping is subject to very specific and concrete rules regarding cleaning, workmanship and the substances they carry.

  • Transfer pipelines – these are designed for long-term transportation. They are very durable and long-lasting. Since their purpose is to transport materials over very long distances, they are made of materials that can handle harsh conditions well.
  • Distribution pipelines – they are used to transport materials at the final stage of the entire process, when they are ready to be delivered to their final destination. Thus, they are used, for example, to deliver water or gas to homes or other locations.

As you can see, there are many types of industrial pipelines. Each is slightly different and requires a different kind of care.
